Violin Session

While the weather has kept me indoors lately, I had to get a bit creative in terms of photography. I started looking around my house for things I thought would be fun to photograph. My first pick was my beautiful violin. I have played this challenging instrument since 2nd grade. This year, I plan to play more, and eventually hope to rejoin a local orchestra. Music was such a big part of my life growing up, so taking time to photograph this elegant instrument, made me appreciate it even more. Below are some of my favorites from the session!

A few of these images are for sale on Society6, so check them out!

Why hello, snow storm Jonas

Well, snow storm Jonas was no joke! Here in Maryland, we got at least 30 inches. Biggest snow storm I've ever seen. I enjoyed watching the storm unfold, but really didn't care for a full day of shoveling the next day. Definitely have sore arms and legs today - what a work out. Due to the blizzard conditions, it was a little difficult to get outdoors, so here are the few photos I was able to snap. Hope everyone had a safe weekend and enjoy the massive amount of snow!

Brrr, it's cold out there

Welp, it is seriously winter in Maryland! Winds chills are making it feel like 4 degrees out right now. YIKES!

Even though the cold temperatures may keep me indoors more than I'd like, when I do get out for a hike or walk, it's quite refreshing! I wanted to share with you a few of my winter photos, mostly from a recent hike in Pennsylvania.

I'm looking forward to taking photos after this giant snow storm on Saturday, hopefully I'll be able to get out to my nearby park!

Enjoy, and everyone stay warm!
