Macro Lens - Cylburn Arboretum

Last Friday I tried out my new macro lens at Cylburn Arboretum. Must say, I really love this lens. I was able to get some great shots of yellow swallowtail butterflies. The black swallowtails were so quick, it was nearly impossible to get a picture of one staying still! Full album up on Flickr, see my facebook post for more details!

BLUE MOON

There was a blue moon on Friday (second full moon in a month)! I decided to try taking some photos with my zoom lens. I had a lot of fun out there despite the bugs. Got some neat photos. See my facebook post to view the images. I definitely wish I had a longer zoom lens, the amount of details you can capture from so far away is quite amazing!

Cylburn Arboretum Spotlight

The Way aka El Camino de Santiago

El Camino de Santiago is a famous walk (pilgrimage) across Spain. The journey is 500 miles and tens of thousands of people trek it every year.
